Cross-Cultural Competence means understanding national, regional, ethnic, organizational, industry, professional, gender and age cultures, and having the  ability to interact, lead and manage effectively in these diverse cultural environments. Corporate global citizens expect and are attuned to diversity, anticipate its challenges and work with the opportunities it brings. They are self-aware about their own values and the business practices & behaviors that seem "normal" to them. They are well informed about the values, practices & behaviors considered "normal" by people from other cultural backgrounds and environments. They are skilled at identifying, bridging and going beyond culture clash to working effectively with cultural differences.
